This 14" x 18" oil on canvas reveals a small lake nestled into Rocky Mountains in Yoho National Park. It's on the cusp of freezing over. In late Spring, the snow will melt and replenish the river basins with fresh water used to fill taps, irrigate farms and produce hydroelectricity.
